Note	between 1845 and 1864 Note: In 1845, James and Jane were living on lot 14, con. 2 West Chinguacousy Township. This was 50 acres that James Bentley had the year before along with his own lot 12 and was beside 50 acres occupied by Joseph Thackeray, who was the grandfather of Jane. This was 50 acres that James Bentley had the year before along with his own lot 12 and was beside 50 acres occupied by Joseph Thackeray, who was the grandfather of Jane. Sometime in the early 1850's they moved to Lot 11 Con. 10 Peel Township, Wellington County, as well as Joseph Thackeray, possibly an uncle of Jane's. This was an area that had been settled in the 1840's by some of James Close's brothers as well as his parents who had just come from England in about 1848. On Jan. 12, 1864, James Close sold this farm to George White, and moved to Illinois, America with most of his family.

Note	In 1845, James and Jane were living on lot 14, con. 2 West Chinguacousy Township. This was 50 acres that James Bentley had the year before along with his own lot 12 and was beside 50 acres occupied by Joseph Thackeray, who was the grandfather of Jane. Sometime in the early 1850's they moved to Lot 11 Con. 10 Peel Township, Wellington County, as well as Joseph Thackeray, possibly an uncle of Jane's. This was an area that had been settled in the 1840's by some of James Close's brothers as well as his parents who had just come from England in about 1848. On Jan. 12, 1864, James Close sold this farm to George White, and moved to Illinois, America with most of his family.
