Mark Close, 1596–1647?> (aged 51 years)
- Name
- Mark /Close/
Known as Mark Close of Whitaside in the Grinton parish registers.
Taken a bit of a flyer on this. There are no records back into the 1500's, but given the predisposition for naming children after the father it seems reasonable that Mark is the father of Mark (1615). There are no other Marks around at the time.

Note: Birth date is on the assumption that he would have to be at least 18 when he married, and that his son Mark was the first child. He may have been older, and Mark may not have been the first child, so his birth date could easily be (much) earlier. |
