NOTE: According to the 1900 US Federal Census Lucien should have been re-married by now, but there's no sign of his wife Jennie. However, living nearby we have a Jennie L Holmes (1848) with what looks like a 1 year son, Frank Holmes (1869). So, it looks as though his future wife was widowed by 1870. This would make more sense, given the records and apparent birth date of son Frank.
Marriage	NOTE: The 1900 US Federal Census has the current marriage at 33 years, which would make the marriage date about 1867. However, Lucien doesn't seem to be married on the 1870 US Federal Census, so think this has been concocted to include son Frank. Suspect Jennie was married briefly before being widowed and re-marrying Lucien.
