Sydney Alexander Close (1890) – World War 1

Sydney Alexander Close (1890) was born in Nottinghamshire, England, the son of John Close and Eliza Hubbard. He was drafted into the Sherwood Foresters in 1915 but discharged as being medically unfit.  He died not long afterwards in 1916.
