This is a list of all the American families
that the Closes have married into ... so far. This
doesn't include children, just spouses. Some appear more
often than others, but usually separated by a few
generations ... although there are times when it looks
as though two entire families married each other!
Different colours represent different generations so a
mix is fine. However, if you come across a whole batch
of the same colour ... be afraid, be very afraid... Besides family names such as Joseph and James, these
often crop up as Christian names ... for example, Joseph
Longstaff Close or Bernard Tennant Close. From this
point-of-view they can often be a useful tell-tale sign
that a particular surname is hanging around somewhere up
the tree. |
