We get quite a few photographs sent to us by various
people. Some of these make it onto the site and into the
galleries. The ones that do have inevitably been
compressed until they squeak in our never-ending battle
against the server-space monster! In other words, the
quality is fine for looking at, downloading and even
sometimes printing, but generally they tend to be more
grainy than the originals. |
|
However, back at base camp ... every now and again we
come across really fine examples of family members. |
|
What we're offering here are the best of the best. None
are later than the 19th Century ... yes, the 19th
Century ... doesn't time fly! |
|
These have been digitally re-mastered, re-sampled,
touched up, and generally buffed until they gleam. |
|
We then print them onto premium glossy paper ready for
framing. All you need to do is trim, frame and display. |
|
Don't forget that these are photographs of real people,
quite possibly your ancestors. You may already have
downloaded the pictures from our site (that's fine -
that's what they're there for) ... but we'd bet anything
that our quality is better than yours. |
|
They look fabulous in frames and make unique and
individual gifts. How many people do you know who have a
framed photograph of their Great-great-great-great
Grandfather? |
|
For obvious reasons we don't have many of these, but
check the shop as we'll add them there over time. |
|
... and here's one we prepared earlier ... the printed
version is brilliant! |

This is William Close (1795) ... my own 3rd
Great-Granduncle ... looking good mate, looking good |
