| We've come to the conclusion that we really need to
start covering some of the site costs, just to keep it running and growing.
We'd also like to spend a bit on things like BMD
Certificates, for instance, but with hundreds of people
at £10 (ish) per certificate it's a non-starter from the
cash flow point-of-view. We wanted things that people can't generally get hold of
but which will add interest to their hobby. The Internet
is awash with free (and bloody expensive) stuff, so
we're trying to add value and appeal to your sense of
history as you research your family.
We reckon we've
found a few things to tempt you. Have a look and see

Book Formats |

We have a number of books available, either for general
interest, or research. |

They all come in a Portable Document Format (.PDF) file. This can
then either be read and / or printed with the Adobe
Acrobat Reader. Chances are you already have this
installed on your computer, but if not just visit the
link below. |

You'll need to have the Adobe Reader
installed. This is a freely available piece of software
commonly used for the creation and display of documents.

Because there are so many pages and / or scanned images, these files are
BIG!
As a result we can't email them out because there's
not a mail server in the world that wouldn't complain!
So, what we have to do is pop them onto a standard
CD-ROM and mail them. Unfortunately this means a small
postage cost to cover package and shipping. We don't
make any money on this, it just covers our costs. |
